Observations / Objects / Ordinary daysA work in progress. And that's the point.
The idea
Not more. Just more noticed.
I started Small Hours as a reason to pay closer attention. To a cup on a table. To light moving across a room. To the rituals that quietly shape a day.
This is a place to collect those observations through short notes and images. No perfect routine. No grand plan. Just a small project, made one piece at a time.
From the notebook
A few things worth noticing.
Three short notes from this fictional personal project.
01 / A SMALL RITUAL
The first cup.
Before the day asks for anything, a little moment of quiet.

The water warms, the cup waits, the room is still. Making coffee is not the important part. Paying attention is. I try to leave the phone in the other room until the first sip.
02 / ORDINARY BEAUTY
Follow the light.
The same room becomes a different place throughout the day.

At one hour, a familiar wall is just a wall. Later, a line of sunlight turns it into something worth stopping for. I keep a camera nearby, but sometimes looking is enough.
less, better.
03 / KEEPING IT SIMPLE
A place for less.
One clear surface. One useful object. Room to begin again.

I don't need an empty room. I need a little breathing space. Clearing a small corner makes it easier to sit down, open a notebook and notice what wants to be made next.
Still taking shape
One small observation at a time.
This project can grow slowly. A new image, a short thought, an object with a story. There is no finish line.
This is a static collection, not an automatically updated blog. The next addition is simply whatever feels worth sharing.
